North Hill has released its spring line-up of True North Courses and Events. Nine classes and programs have been scheduled, with topics ranging from the Northern Indian dance tradition “Kathak” to an interactive session on greenhouse gardening to a “late night cartoon snack” with Boston Globe cartoonist Dan Wasserman. Each class is designed to enrich the lives of vibrant seniors in Boston’s MetroWest.

Olin College of Engineering's students are taking on innovative tasks that have implications for how senior housing cares for residents. The Needham, MA-based school is working with nearby North Hill Senior Living, a life care community founded in 1984, to develop relationships between the older adults and the students so they can understand their needs. The project, announced this month, is financed by the North Hill-Olin College Fund for Innovation in Aging.
